| Nelson 'DOC' Hamilton is a martial arts icon who, for more than 30 years, has made an indelible mark on the sport as an educator, practitioner, referee and judge. A former member of the California Martial Arts Advisory Committee, 'DOC' has been instrumental in writing and re-writing the rules governing kickboxing and mixed martial arts in California, and is nationally sought as a consultant to other State Athletic Commissions and Regulatory Agencies. Recognized for his martial arts knowledge and insight ‘Doc’ has been a contributing editor to both Inside Kung Fu and Grappling magazines, and fully supports mixed martial arts as "THE international sport of the future." |
